Can't really remember mine, they were too long ago - but I've recently had both eyes operated on for cataracts - everyone said, piece of cake, you won't know yourself, nothing to it etc. etc. - well I've suffered through nine weeks of pain and misery :(( but things are coming right and I'm back driving! Hurrah. <br />I love the story of your hot water cylinder - my forties bungalow had one cupboard, it was in the bathroom and, yes, in it was a huge old hot water cylinder. So I kept the claw foot bath, came in useful for the grand daughters, and in the space had a shower using gas hot water. I've since got rid of the bath and now have a walk in shower with hand holds and a seat - that was in the twelve year upgrade. Too right, this redecorating never ends!
